Right-handed middle-order batsman Voges is the Perth Scorchers skipper, who led the club to the BBL|04 title. Voges made his Australia debut at the age of 35 in the West Indies in June 2015, after winning the 2014-15 Sheffield Shield Player of the Year following a season which saw him make 1358 runs, the fourth most ever in a single season. He went on to make a century on debut, becoming the oldest player in world cricket to ever do so.
Voges has been a consistent performer for WA for over a decade and has represented Australia in limited-overs cricket numerous times. He started the 2006-07 season with two Pura Cup centuries to win a shock Australian call-up for the third Ashes Test. He made his Australia debut in an ODI against New Zealand in February 2007 and scored his maiden international hundred upon his return to the side after two years out against the West Indies in February 2013.
