Tim Bresnan

Bresnan joined the Scorchers as an international replacement player for David Willey. The bowling all-rounder is a proven performer, having represented England across all three formats on more than 140 occasions.

A more than handy lower order batsman with a strike rate of 124 in T20s paired with 84 wickets – Bresnan will be hard to handle – proven by his successful stint in the 2010-11 Ashes in Australia. He was the third leading wicket-taker in this year’s NatWest T20 Blast with 21 dismissals for Yorkshire Vikings and has previous KFC Big Bash League experience, playing for the Hobart Hurricanes in BBL|04.
