Jason grew up in Canberra but moved to Western Australia to chase his first class cricket dream in 2009 after impressing then-Warriors Head Coach Tom Moody in a bowling trial at the WACA Ground.
The left-arm quick had come under the notice of several states after an impressive performance as an 18-year old for the Prime Minister’s XI in their annual match at Manuka Oval.
Jason goes into his fourth domestic season in the west, but is now settled in Perth having met a local girl and recently becoming engaged.
He has greatly developed as a bowler in the past 12 months and offers the Scorchers tremendous variety as the only left-armer in the attack. Jason will be ready to grab his opportunity when one presents.
