#MADETOUGH Moments Of Big Bash 17-18

16 February 2018

We look back at our five favourite feel-good and #MADETOUGH moments of the 2017-18 Big Bash season.

Klinger, 83 (61) - Game 4 v Sixers (1 Jan 2018)

Maxy's #MADETOUGH innings was an inspiration, with his family having recently been given the cancer diagnosis of wife Cindy. Klinger's knock against the Sixers remained the highest score with the bat for the Scorchers all season.

Sandi's husband was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The Scorchers wanted to help take the minds of sons, Luke and Jake, off that battle, even if for only a brief moment.

Massive Scorchers fan Clint has cerebral palsy. So when the Scorchers were made aware that he would be attending a game, Mitchell Johnson and AJ Tye gave him the experience of a lifetime.

Villani, WBBL|03

Scorchers skipper Elyse Villani was a #MADETOUGH performer across the whole season, recording the second-most runs of any WBBL player, with 535 and five half-tons.

Voges, 56* (45) - Game 10 v Strikers (25 Jan 2018)

What a fitting farewell to #TheFurnace. The skipper put in his best performance in the last game of the regular season and the last BBL game to be played at the WACA Ground.
