Scorchers Join In WA Day Festivities

Scorchers prepare for WA Day Festival at Elizabeth Quay, with players, macots and the BBL|06 trophy to be out-and-about in the community.

Reigning KFC BBL champions the Perth Scorchers will this long-weekend in amongst the bustle of Elizabeth Quay, helping the people of the greatest state on Earth celebrate WA Day.

The Scorchers will join in the WA Day Festival celebrations at Elizabeth Quay on Sunday and Monday, 4-5 June, with players and mascots on-hand, as well as the BBL|06 Trophy.

The 2017 WA Day Festival aims to celebrate all that is Western Australia, including its people, culture, landscape and history.

The event is designed for everyone in WA to come out and celebrate with their family and friends and aims to promote inclusiveness of all people that choose to make WA their home, with festivities around music, performance, sport and food.

And, of course, the Scorchers will be along to help celebrate the day.

The country’s most successful BBL Club will host skills sessions and games, while a player will be on-hand between 12-2pm on both Sunday and Monday alongside mascots Blaze and Amber.

Event-goers will also have the opportunity to take a photo with the BBL|06 trophy, while the Membership team will be available to answer any questions.
