The Scorchers last season went down to the Sixers by seven runs in the Final and Villani said they were desperate to atone for the result today at Adelaide Oval.
"We were obviously very disappointed last year in the final, the Sixers played extremely well and we felt like we let ourselves down in certain aspects of the match," Villani said.
"We really love playing here at Adelaide Oval, it's a great venue to play at and a great batting wicket so it'll be a pretty even contest.
"To come up against such a great outfit again in this year's final, I think it's quite fitting and hopefully we can change the course."
The Scorchers come into the game following a 27 run win over the Sydney Thunder while the Sixers yesterday defeated the Adelaide Strikers by 17 runs, Ashleigh Gardner was a stand out for the winning team with 72 runs off 45 deliveries.
Villani said her side had plans in place to try and limit the impact Gardner has in the Final.
"We'll definitely be looking to execute those plans, I think the good thing is in the past two games the Sixers have played against us she hasn't scored a lot of runs against us because we've executed those plans well," she said.
"Hopefully the same thing can happen again tomorrow and we don't let her get away because she's a real match winner and someone like that can really strike at a high rate."
The game between the Scorchers and Sixers gets underway at 9.20am AWST, the match will be broadcast live on Network Ten and on radio stations including the ABC, MRN and BBC.
