The Perth Scorchers have made one change to their 16-player squad for their KFC Big Bash League match against the Hobart Hurricanes tomorrow, Tuesday 12 January at Optus Stadium.

The Scorchers can make it a hometown clean sweep with a win tomorrow night against Hobart.

Perth belted the Canes the last time the teams met and are playing with plenty of confidence as they seek to secure their fifth win in a row.

Jhye Richardson has been in fierce form with the ball and is now the competition’s leading wicket taker with 17 scalps.

It’s been a perfect homecoming to date for the Scorchers, they’ve bowled the opposition out in all three matches in front of bumper Perth crowds.

Saturday night’s Disco Inferno fixture again set a BBL|10 crowd record, with nearly thirty thousand fans screaming on the Scorchers.

Kiwi Colin Munro is out of the squad after injuring his quad in Saturday’s win over the Sydney Thunder.

Joe Clarke re-joins the squad as a CA approved injury replacement player for Munro.

WACA Sports Science Sports Medicine Manager Nick Jones said;

“Colin sustained a low grade quad strain and has started a short period of rehabilitation.

“He has been cleared of significant damage and will re-join the squad shortly.”
