#TheFurnace Gears Up For Fan Day

13 November 2017

The gates of #TheFurnace will this Sunday 19 November be thrown open for the Perth Scorchers Fan Day, with players and fans alike helping to usher in the looming season of Big Bash.

The popular event, which has previously attracted more than 1000 people, is free for Scorchers and WACA Members upon presentation of their Membership card, along with MILO T20 Blast and MILO in2CRICKET participants if they’re wearing their official shirt.

Entry otherwise is a gold coin donation for the general public, with all proceeds going to the Scorchers charity partner Variety WA.

New additions to the day's activities will include the Radical Run Obstacle Course and the Velcro Fly Wall, complementing the host of entertainment options hosted by the Scorchers.

Fans will get the opportunity to meet the Perth Scorchers KFC BBL and Rebel WBBL players and collect signatures in the Club’s official autograph book.

Fan-favourite Club mascots Blaze and Amber will also be present, while people will have the opportunity to take part in cricket games and activities on the hallowed turf of #TheFurnace.

The Club's game-day dancers, the Fire Lighters, will also be on-hand, hosting dance classes for fans who want to take their engagement at matches to the next level, with returning favourites Scorchers Airbrush Tattoos, Awesome Balloon Creations, Scorchers Fan Photo Booth and Caricature Sketches.

There will also be the popular Scorchers Smash Competition, with lucky fans getting to choose their favourite Scorchers players, who try to out-six each other.
