What To See At #TheFurnace: The Orangery

11 January 2017

The Orangery // Keane Bourke

The Orangery is a new addition to #TheFurnace this season, and we suggest you take a look.

Are you one of the lucky ones to have locked away your ticket to the Scorchers’ sold-out, final regular-season KFC Big Bash League |06 match on Saturday?

Well, if you are, make sure you check out The Orangery.

The Scorchers this season introduced a few new areas to the #TheFurnace, one of those areas being The Orangery.

Located on the northern perimeter near Gate 3, The Orangery offers a great social setting for fans wanting to relax away from the in-bowl action.

The grassed space is dotted with white tables and lounge-style chairs to create a space to rest and regroup, while orange lanterns hanging from overhead create a relaxing ambience and maintain the orange theme across #TheFurnace.

Rose bushes border the area, while the large Orangery sign creates a peaceful, yet sophisticated oasis.

If you haven’t visited The Orangery yet, we invite you to do so at the Scorchers’ final regular-season home game of the BBL.
