Tim David burst onto the Western Australian cricket scene during the 2016-17 season top-scoring with a 137 against South Australia in the Toyota Futures League. After consistent performances throughout the summer the towering batsman was offered a spot on the WACA Academy list during for the 2017-18 season and has been making the most of the opportunity. David held his own against the world class bowling attack of the England touring side when scored 37 in the Tour match against WAXI and followed up with an undefeated 55 off 39 deliveries in the T20 match against England Lions a month later.
Standing just under two metres tall, the 21-year-old is a fan of music, currently learning the piano and plays the bagpipes.
