Four Perth Scorchers have been named in a 24-man squad for the Australia A quad series to be played in Brisbane, Mackay and Townsville in August and September.
The quad series will be a combination of four-day and one-day matches against South Africa A, Cricket Australia’s National Performance Squad and a fourth international side to be confirmed.
Specific squads for the four-day and one-day components will be selected from the pool of players.
The NPS squad, to be coached by Bupa National Cricket Centre high performance coach Graeme Hick and former Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris, will be confirmed closer to the tournament.
