Perth Scorchers will play before a packed house at Optus Stadium on Sunday, with the first allocation of tickets for the KFC BBL|15 Final exhausted just 34 minutes after becoming available to the general public.
Allocation Exhausted! Bumper Crowd Set For Sunday's BBL|15 Decider
All remaining tickets go on sale Saturday at 10AM, WA time, as the Club looks to eclipse its record home crowd of 53,886 that attended the thrilling BBL|12 decider.
Eying an unprecedented sixth KFC BBL title, the Scorchers earned hosting rights for the marquee fixture last night by toppling fierce rivals Sydney Sixers in a low-scoring showdown at The Furnace.
Their opponent will be determined Friday when the Sixers host the winner of tonight’s Knockout between reigning champions Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Stars.
Adding to the spectacle, Aussie indie rockers The Jungle Giants will headline the entertainment with two sets on the KFC FLG Stage – one pre-game, and another during the innings break.
