BBL Players In Action In IPL and PSL

Several members of the Perth Scorchers KFC BBL|15 Championship winning squad have commenced their 2026 Indian Premier League and Pakistan Super League campaigns. Here’s all you need to know on how the players have fared so far.

Mitchell Marsh (IPL – Lucknow Super Giants)

The powerful opening batter has shown glimpses of his best form in India, making 75 runs across four innings at 18.75. Marsh opened his campaign with a composed 35 against the Delhi Capitals, before scores of 14, 15 and 11 in his past three outings. Marsh’s Super Giants sit seventh on the ladder with two wins and two losses to start their campaign.

Cooper Connolly (IPL – Punjab Kings)

Connolly made quite the impression on his IPL debut against Gujarat Titans last month, belting an unbeaten 72 to guide his team to victory. He followed that up with a rapid-fire 36 against Chennai Super Kings and 11 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Connolly’s side is unbeaten through the first four games of the tournament.

David Payne (IPL – Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Payne featured in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s first two matches of the season, which resulted in a loss to defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore and a win over Finn Allen’s Kolkata Knight Riders. Both matches saw Sunrisers Hyderabad bat first and post scores in excess of 200. After being substituted in for Travis Head against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Payne was one of the standout bowlers, taking 2-35 off three overs.

Finn Allen (IPL – Kolkata Knight Riders)

Like Connolly, Allen wasted little time making his presence felt in this year’s tournament. The opening batter smashed eight boundaries in his 17-ball 37 against Mumbai Indians, before being substituted out of the game. He followed that up with a breathtaking 28, smacking the first six balls he faced to the fence, before being dismissed on the seventh.

Aaron Hardie (PSL – Peshawar Zalmi)

Hardie has played one game out six for the unbeaten Peshawar Zalmi, who have been the dominant team of the tournament to date. In his lone appearance, Hardie took 1-36 off three overs in a high-scoring game. Peshawar Zalmi has four games left before the start of the finals.

Ashton Turner (PSL – Multan Sultans)

The Multan Sultans are emerging as one of the key challengers to Peshawar Zalmi and Turner’s form has been central to that. With unbeaten scores of 43 and 52 in two of his first three games, Turner’s form has been one of the reasons why Multan Sultans are well placed going into the second half of the tournament.
