How to watch the 2026 ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League

After featuring in the Top End T20 series in Darwin in 2024 and 2025 and winning last year’s edition, the Scorchers will head internationally this winter to take some of world cricket’s most powerful franchises.

The Scorchers, who will compete in the tournament as Perth Scorchers XI, will follow in the footsteps of Victoria and Hobart Hurricanes as Australian representatives in the tournament.

Fans will be able to catch every game of the tournament on Fox Cricket and Kayo, with games to commence every day at 7am and 10pm WST.

The Scorchers XI will feature in the opening game of the tournament against Lahore Qalanders, who won the Pakistan Super League earlier this year.

Named in the initial 14-player squad – most of whom travelled to Guyana last week – Scorchers regular Aaron Hardie and New Zealand international Mark Champman have both withdrawn from the tournament due to personal reasons.

Their replacements have not yet been determined.

The travelling party is led by regular Scorchers captain Ashton Turner, who featured in the T20 Blast in England earlier this month.

Ashton Agar, Brody Couch, Joel Curtis, Sam Fanning and Jhye Richardson have also caught the plane to South America, having featured during Perth Scorchers’ championship KFC BBL|15 campaign.

Former WA One-Day Cup and Sheffield Shield winning top order batter D’Arcy Short also gets a chance to represent a Scorchers team for the first time.

The remainder of the squad is made up with players with international white-ball experience from South Africa, West Indies and Pakistan.

Simon Katich will coach the Scorchers XI with BBL mentor Adam Voges unavailable due to coaching commitments at The Hundred.

Katich will be supported by WA and Perth Scorchers Senior Assistant Tim MacDonald and Perth Scorchers General Manager Kade Harvey during the tournament.
