BBL|16 Tickets on Sale

After lifting a record sixth BBL trophy in front of Western Australia’s largest ever cricket crowd of 55,018 in January, the Scorchers are set to thrill the league’s strongest fan base in another five home matches at Optus Stadium this season.

The Scorchers will be out to secure back-to-back BBL titles for a staggering third time in BBL|16 and are set to feature in some of the tournament’s biggest matches.

History will be made when the Scorchers head to Chennai to face Melbourne Renegades in the opening game of BBL|16, the first time a match has been played outside Australia.

Importantly for Scorchers Members and fans, the historic occasion in Chennai will be a Renegades home match, paving the way for the full complement of five matches to be played at Optus Stadium.

The Furnace will fire up for the first time on Sunday December 20, when the Scorchers take on Hobart Hurricanes in a blockbuster clash between two of the competition’s heavyweights.

Six days later the Scorchers will welcome Melbourne Stars for another bumper Boxing Day Bash, which is set to be one of the hottest tickets for the summer.

The Scorchers will farewell 2026 with a third consecutive home match against Sydney Thunder on Wednesday December 30.

The reigning champions conclude their home game schedule with matches against Brisbane Heat (Monday 4 January) and Melbourne Renegades (Wednesday 13 January).

Thirty regular season matches and every final will be shown live and free on Seven and 7plus.

Every BBL|16 match will be aired on Kayo Sports and Fox Cricket, including 10 matches exclusive to Fox Cricket.
