AAMI has entered a new two-year partnership with Perth Scorchers and WA Cricket, strengthening its commitment to cricket across Western Australia and joining the Club as Principal Partner ahead of the upcoming Weber WBBL and KFC BBL seasons.
AAMI to join Scorchers family in new Western Australian community partnership
The partnership will see the launch of AAMI Community Champions, a season-long recognition program celebrating the dedicated volunteers who are the heartbeat of community cricket across the state.
Running from September to March, community cricket clubs will be invited to nominate outstanding volunteers who go above and beyond in supporting players, families and local clubs.
Successful nominees will be rewarded with exclusive Perth Scorchers match day experiences, creating memorable and meaningful recognition moments, while helping shine a spotlight on the vital role volunteers play in grassroots cricket.
Participating clubs will also have the opportunity to secure one of five $1000 grants, with each nomination increasing their chances of receiving funding to support their local cricket community.
The program reflects the shared commitment of the Perth Scorchers, WA Cricket and AAMI to recognising the unsung heroes who help communities thrive, while reinforcing AAMI’s strong connection to grassroots cricket.
As part of the partnership, AAMI will feature prominently on the centre of the Scorchers playing and training kits, as well as on both collars of the Club’s official media polo, further strengthening their presence across Western Australian cricket.
Perth Scorchers General Manager Kade Harvey said the partnership represented a natural alignment between two organisations committed to supporting Western Australian cricket communities.

AAMI Executive General Manager, Brand and Customer Experience, Mim Haysom said the partnership was a natural fit, bringing together two organisations with a shared commitment to supporting communities across Western Australia.
