Promising young batter McKeon will make her first appearance in orange after two seasons with Melbourne Stars.
McKeon made a fast impression in her debut game during WBBL|10 where she made a fast half century against the Scorchers at the WACA Ground.
Peschel returns after two seasons with Sydney Thunder, where the fast bowler took 14 wickets across 16 innings.
Peschel will look to add to her Scorchers total after notching 73 games before her interstate move.
Both McKeon and Peschel recently represented the Scorchers during the Spring Challenge tournament, where the team fell just short against champions Sydney Sixers.
The pair round out the club’s list, adding further depth and promising potential to a squad eager to build on its strong foundations.
McKeon said she was eager to build on the experience gained from the last couple of years in the tournament.
“The opportunity to keep learning in such a professional environment is something I’m incredibly grateful for and excited about,” she said.
“This group has a great culture and I’m looking forward to working hard, improving my game and making the most of every opportunity that comes my way.”
Peschel said she was excited to continue her journey with her home team.
“It’s really special to be back representing the Scorchers and to be part of this group again.
"I’m grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to getting stuck in, contributing wherever I can and seeing what we can achieve as a team”
Perth Scorchers General Manager Kade Harvey said both players have earned their spots in the squad through hard work and commitment.
“Ines is a young dynamic player who has shown positive signs during the start of the Women's National Cricket League season.
"She is a young player with plenty of upside, so this season is about getting her more exposure to the shortest format of the game.
Taneale is an experienced player, who is familiar to the Scorchers set up and we know what she can bring to the team.
"She will add to what is formidable pace attack, including Chloe Ainsworth and Ebony Hoskin.”
“We’re excited to see their development continue within our program and believe they can both step up if called upon during the season.
“We’ve now got a complete squad that we think can really make a strong run to the team lifting up the trophy for a second time."
