Aaron Hardie was awarded a rookie contract for both the Western Australia State Men’s and Scorchers squads for the first time in 2018-19.
The 21-year-old captained the WA Under 19s side to victory at the Cricket Australia National Under 19s Championships in 2017 and earned Australian selection, highlighted by an impressive knock of 85 against Pakistan.
With a Sheffield Shield hundred and a four-wicket haul to his name from only three matches, Hardie has a mountain of potential and will be aiming to break into the Scorchers starting team in the upcoming BBL season.
