Payne is a versatile pace bowler from England with plenty of franchise T20 experience across the globe.
The tall left-armer played a huge role at the back end of Perth Scorchers' championship KFC BBL|12 campaign having arrived as an Injury Replacement Player mid-January.
He finished the tournament with six wickets at 17.10 including 3-33 in The Qualifier against Sydney Sixers at Optus Stadium, removing superstar Steve Smith - who entered the match in devastating form - and dangerous Sixers skipper Moises Henriques.
Payne played a One-Day International for England against the Netherlands in 2022, and shapes as an important weapon for the Scorchers in KFC BBL|15.
