Couch's BBL journey started with Melbourne Stars in BBL|11, where he played all 14 games in a season where the side just missed finals.
The tearaway quick made four appearances across his remaining two BBL campaigns with the Stars.
After joining Western Australia for the 2024-25 domestic season, Couch signed with the Scorchers for BBL|15 and made his debut in the season opening clash with Sydney Sixers.
Couch became an integral part of the Scorchers side as the campaign wore on, joining Mahli Beardman, Jhye Richardson and David Payne in a formidable pace attack.
The 26-year-old also featured for Perth Scorchers XI in the 2026 Global Super League, taking six wickets across three innings, as well as scoring 66 valuable runs in his two opporunities with the bat.
