Team of the week

Tell us your proudest achievement as part of this team?

The proudest moment for this team is them being so welcoming of each other from the other club. These lads from Claremont Nedlands and Subi Marist Junior Cricket clubs have been thrown together to make a team this season and have welcomed new players too. Their team spirit and attitude towards each other makes their coaches, managers and parents so proud of them.

Why should you be team of the week?

This team should be team of the week because it is a joint team between two clubs who otherwise would not be able to raise a team of Under 15’s. By the two clubs working together it means that a group of young men get to play the sport they love every single week and not miss out.

Why should you be team of the week?

We should be team of the week because the girls consistently try to play their best whilst having fun and enjoying each other’s company. We play with great spirit

Tell us your proudest achievement as part of this team?

Our best point is our inclusiveness. We all enjoy each other’s success whilst supporting each other when our performances aren’t what we want. We genuinely care for our team mates.

What is the team’s best achievement, on or off the field?

This year it’s been about having fun, they are able to play at a high level while they enjoy their cricket, it’s not about results, it’s about playing with mates and playing in the spirit of cricket.

Why should you be the Team of the Week?

The Joondalup-Kinross Wolves always play hard, fair cricket and we try to play our best week in week out no matter who the opposition is, our respect for the opposition and the way we treat everyone in a good natured way is why we deserve team of the week.

What is the team’s best achievement, on or off the field?

In 2019/20 we were undefeated all season (15 games) but didn’t get to play the GF because of COVID. Last season we finished on top of the ladder and got to play in a GF which we won. So Back-to-Back premierships – 2019/20, 2020/21. We are going for a 3 peat this season.

Why should you be the Team of the Week?

We (1) train hard, (2) have fun with our mates, (3) give our best on the day and (4) play within the spirit of cricket. If it works out on the day and we win the game that’s awesome, otherwise as long as we’re doing all of those 4 things then we can’t ask more of ourselves as a team.

What is the team’s best achievement, on or off the field?

The best part of being in this team is spending time with your mates and the support we get from one another on and off the field.
