Please tell us your proudest achievement as part of this team?
In the 2018/19 season, I coached a mixed u10 team, 3 players in that team were girls. Those same girls are still playing cricket today in u15. I hope I have played a small role in helping them enjoy their cricket.

Our team is competitive, honest and fair. We play the game for enjoyment. Over the course of the year we aim to improve our skills. And most importantly we have fun whether we win or lose.

Week 3 | Swan Athletic-Caversham Junior Cricket Club’s Year 8-9 Girls Blue

Please tell us your proudest achievement as part of this team?
Having the team show incredible resilience through the season. In round 1 we were beaten by 80 ish runs, and managed to bounce back and get some good wins on the board, and show the competition we are competing.

We show great team work, and are always having a good time. I feel that other teams enjoy playing us, as it is competitive, but also played in good spirits.

I have coached my daughters team since the 2019/20 season. I am really proud of the team spirit and culture that has developed over the years. The support and encouragement each player displays is really pleasing to see.

As a team we would love to be acknowledged for what we have achieved.  This would be a highlight of the season for us. Please note I will be overseas from 15/11 to 29/21 inclusive and would prefer to be here with the team during the winning week if successful.

Week 5 | Willetton JCC Years 8-9 Girls (PINK)

Please tell us your proudest achievement as part of this team?
My proudest moment is when I watched one of my girls bowl a ball that hit the opposition batter. She stopped the game, apologised, consoled her opponent, coached her opponent with batting technique and where to stand and then continued the game.

Our girls team is a fantastic representation of the community, we have many cultures and amazing diversity. Some of our girls are highly skilled and some are developing their fundamentals but everyone on the team is equal.
