All the information you need to know ahead of our Crown Pride Match.

Your Match Day Info Guide:

The Perth Scorchers are set to take on the Melbourne Stars this Wednesday 22 November at the WACA Ground in the team’s Crown Pride Match. Gates open from 3:30pm with all the Scorchers action starting at 5:10 pm.

Tickets: 

Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster with kid’s 15 and under entering for FREE!    

Members: 

Enter using Members pass through at Gate 8 of the WACA Ground.

WACA Members will have access to Lillee Marsh Stand and Boundary Room. Scorchers Members have access to Southwest Pavilion, Players Pavilion and Boundary Cafe.

Members Exclusives: 

Bobbleheads: 
Come ignite pride with us at our final WBBL home match and collect your member-exclusive AJ Tye bobblehead. Available for collection at the Membership Marquee, located next to the Membership and Reception Office. Bring your physical member card or mobile member ticket for ID purposes. 

Signing Session:
Members are invited to join us for an unforgettable experience at our player signing. This is an exclusive opportunity for members to get up close with the Men’s BBL Perth Scorchers team, where you can grab a quick photo or an autograph.

Getting to the WACA Ground:

There are a number of transport options for getting to match day. The easiest way to get to the WACA Ground is via the free Perth Red Cat bus stopping just outside the venue on Braithwaite Street.

Transperth’s journey planner is host to a variety of options to get you to the venue. To prepare your public transport plan visit the planner.  

Alternatively, street and City of Perth parking is available, with the Queens Gardens Carpark just adjacent to the ground – make sure to check signs before leaving your vehicle.    

Key Times:  
3:30pm – Entry open via Gate 8, Fan Zone starts.
5:10pm – First ball

Through this Crown Pride Match, we continue our mission to ensure everyone is welcome in our sport, and promote inclusion and increased visibility of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA+) community. Crown is also a proud supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and is our match’s naming partner, reflective of the organisation’s ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Join us to ignite pride with rainbow face paint and airbrush tattoos, plus pride anthems and plenty of cricket action. 

Fan Zone:
Head to the West Bank for our free Perth Scorchers Fan Zone! Activities will include facepainting, airbrush tattoos, PEP Transport inflatable cricket net and more! We can’t wait to see you there (and neither can Blaze and Amber).

Partner Activities:
Budget Direct – Enter for your chance to win an Audi! Located inside Gate 8 Entry.
PEP Transport - Try your hand at batting or bowling a #PEPRapidExpressDelivery at the inflatable net. Located in the Fan Zone. 
NOVA Casanovas – visit the Casanovas between 4:10pm and 5:10pm to claim some free Scorchers merch (while stocks last).

Food and Beverages:

Visit the Southwest Pavilion for plenty of match day snacks from 3:30pm. The Long Bar and Boundary Café are both located in the Lillee Marsh Stand will be open and accessible for members only.  

Post Match:

Stick around after the match for signatures from players!

The WACA Ground is a cashless venue meaning you will need to pay using EFTPOS at all food and beverage outlets.

All attendees will be subject to the WACA Ground’s conditions of entry as well as relevant Cricket Australia and ICC policies. Policies and conditions can be reviewed on the WACA Ground website.
