Scorchers Pay a Visit to PCHF Kids’ Clinic

Perth Scorchers players Matt Kelly and Jhye Richardson have spent a morning being patients, checking into the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Kids’ Clinic.

Being looked after by seven incredible West Australian kids, who swapped their hospital gowns for doctor coats, Kelly and Richardson were taken through a number of check-up stations.

Kelly, Richardson and other VIP patients were taken around to different stations where they got their health and happiness tested, their balance and eyesight checked, and sense of humour measured.

The patients for the day were helping to raise $400,000 for next-generation technology to help WA’s sickest kids.

Other patients for the day included Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe), Katie Lamb (radio personality), Miranda DiGrande (international model) and Demi Skinner (Tik Tok circus sensation).

Perth Scorchers have been proud partners with Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (PCHF) since 2024, aiding the charity’s commitment to helping sick kids get well and stay well.

The partnership was launched at the WACA Ground, where eight Scorchers players savoured the chance to spend valuable time with five remarkable PCHF ambassadors, aged 8-10, and their families for the charity’s annual Kid Takeover campaign.
