Boxing Day Beat Drop: Tigerlily takes over The Furnace
Summer’s hottest fixture will reach boiling point with Tigerlily to send The Furnace into a spin for Perth Scorchers’ smash hit Boxing Day match.
One of Australia’s premier producers and DJs, Tigerlily will perform two sets alongside saxophonist Nat Sax with the pair bringing their electrifying summer vibe to Optus Stadium.
"I'm so excited to be coming to Perth with Nat Sax to play at the Boxing Day Bash," Tigerlily said.
"There's nothing more fitting for Boxing Day than a party at the cricket, and we can't wait to put on a great show and cheer on the Perth Scorchers.”
Voted Australia’s #1 Female DJ three years in a row and named in Rolling Stone’s list of the 50 Greatest Australian Electronic Acts of All Time, Tigerlily is one of the most in-demand producers both in Australia and across the globe.
Her blend of boundary-breaking electro and feel-good pop will set the scene for Perth Scorchers’ blockbuster clash against reigning KFC BBL champions Hobart Hurricanes on Friday 26 December.
The Boxing Day Bash is a fan-favourite fixture of the Orange Army, consistently attracting crowds upwards of 40-thousand Members and fans.
Perth Scorchers General Manager Jess Keily said Tigerlily is going to take the match to a whole new level.
“Tigerlily has played some of the world’s biggest stages and having her bring that energy to Perth is incredibly exciting. Her set with Nat Sax will help create an unforgettable atmosphere for what is always a blockbuster Scorchers fixture," she said.
“Our fans turn The Furnace into the best atmosphere in the league, and this performance will amplify that. We’re dedicated to delivering brilliant experiences that go beyond cricket and create something truly special for the Orange Army.
“We can’t wait to see Tigerlily fire up The Furnace in front of a massive crowd.”
