A veteran of 51 BBL matches since making his debut in the 2015-16 competition with Perth Scorchers, Paris has developed into one of the competition's premier strike bowlers.

His first stint at the Scorchers saw him notch 17 games across four seasons, before he left to join Hobart Hurricanes ahead of BBL|11. 

After two seasons with the Hurricanes, Paris then joined Melbourne Stars prior to BBL|13 and called the MCG home for two seasons.

His nine wickets at 16.11 and a tidy economy of 6.59 from six outings for the Stars in BBL|14 made him a target for the Scorchers, who farewelled AJ Tye and Jason Behrendorff at the completion of that season.

On return to the Scorchers, Paris made an immediate impact, taking 11 wickets from seven matches, including 3-22 in a Player of the Match performance against Adelaide Strikers.

Injury cut short Paris' BBL|15 campaign after the side's tense loss to Melbourne Renegades at Optus Stadium.

While he didn't play in the Final, Paris featured in the 14-player squad for the Final against Sydney Sixers.
